Playtime.

WATERY WEDNESDAY
Like beads on a necklace that's fallen apart
Lie the pools in the dry creek bed
Lying waiting there, in the sun,
For the rainy days ahead.
Hoping for clouds to turn anger-blue,
Hoping for heavy drops,
As the days of drought take a backward step
And the bright blue weather stops.
Then, like children let out to play
The pools will hold hands as one,
And laughing, gurgling, leaping with light
Off down the hill they'll run.

What a beautiful sunshine glow it is and the poem makes it all complete. Like beads on a necklace...I agree.
