Rest and Reflect

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY
Just part of a restaurant I visited recently.
I love the way the shadowy corner contrasts with the brilliance outside.

REST AND REFLECT

Beyond the shade, the sunlight.
Beyond the dark, the light.
Rest here, weary traveller.
And delight.

Where resting your weary bones can lead, here:

I seem to do more resting than anything else these days.

I loved the poem "Second Chance". I will never know, but the lyrics "love is better the second time around" are tantalizing.

This is a very distinctive shadow shot - it is difficult to see where it begins and ends. And the whole a solid contrast in front of the window.

Wonderful poem, Brenda. So much meaning in so few words.

A nice shadowy corner. I like the idea of a big comfy looking couch in a restaurant. Perfect place to sit and relax after a wonderful meal. Especially if it's a big meal and you're not quite ready for moving too far yet :)
