Harem Hair

Some time ago an Indian correspondent of mine gave her recipe for the perfect hair-treatment. I doubt if the mixture would do much for my little Anglo-Saxon head of hair, but the words she used conjured up such an exotic and glorious image! I imagined the Indian lady walking in her garden, with her black hair gleaming in the sunshine, reciting the words to herself
'Hibiscus, Rosemary, Indigo.'

The term 'Harem' may not be in keeping with the life-style of the lady who wrote-out the 'recipe' but it is certainly in keeping with the lady who walks in my imaginary garden!

HAREM HAIR

May the hair look as lovely as the words you use!
May the sheen be as silky as the blends you choose!
Hibiscus, Rosemary, Indigo
With Aloevera to add that glow.
Amla, Sesame, Fenugreek,
All such delicious words to speak!
Eucalyptus, Mehndi too,
The hair will shine with a brilliant hue!
The words are so lovely that it's quite certain
The hair will be like a silken curtain!
Hibiscus, Rosemary, Indigo.
